New presidential aide appointed in Kazakhstan Kairat Kozhamzharov

New presidential aide has been appointed in Kazakhstan, the president’s official website reported.

By Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s decree Kozhamzharov Kairat Perneshovich has been appointed as Presidential Aide – Secretary of Security Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan and has been dismissed from the post of governor of Akmola region.

Perneshovich served in the financial police bodies in various posts from July 1999 until his new appointment.

His awards include Order of “Dank” II degree (2006), medals and the title of “Best Investigator of the Republic of Kazakhstan” (1992), “Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, honorary diplomas of Chairman of Kazakh Agency for Combating Economic Crimes and Corruption (Financial Police). He is married and has four children.
