We are inviting you to take part in the 2nd International Investment Forum
”KARAGANDA-INVEST-2008”

Government of Karaganda region, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, JSC “Stable Development Fund “KAZYNA”, LLC “ITECA”, present 2nd International Investment Forum “KARAGANDA-INVEST-2008” to be held on 30-31st of May 2008 in Karaganda.
The aim of the Forum is to present the investment opportunities of the region.
Representatives of the central and local agencies, financial institutions and institutes of development, ambassadors of foreign countries, and also heads of the large national and foreign companies, business – associations will take part in work of the Forum.
Participation in the Forum will give an opportunity to potential investors to study economic, legal and other conditions of business dealing in region, to familiarize with investment potential during presentation of investment projects of the Karaganda enterprises and the organizations, and also to discuss with representatives of official and business circles of prospect of the international and regional investment cooperation.
The forum will be submitted by plenary session during which questions of a modern economic situation and prospects of investment in economy of area will be discussed. Performance of representatives of the Government of Republic Kazakhstan, JSC “Stable Development Fund "Кazyna" and the large national companies is supposed. Priorities, the purposes, problems, conditions and prospects of investment in the Karaganda region will be formulated. The regional database under investment projects of the enterprises will be offered to potential investors. Besides the opportunity to carry out separate presentation of the investment projects will be given to enterprises - participants.
The second part of the Forum assumes carrying out of section works with participation of moderators on directions:
-    “Power system”
-    “Agricultural sector: formation of trade-logistic center”
-    “Innovation development”
-    “Prospects of development of Karaganda (General plan of city of Karaganda)”
-    “Investment opportunities of conversion of deposits and development of cluster “Metallurgy and metal processing”
-    “Tourism”
Introduction of additional sections is possible in case of receipt of suggestions.
